Here we are, a week until Nano... and there are still only three Comox Valley writers here? I suppose everyone was having too much fun outside, in the last little bit of sunshine.

Now that the autumn rains have arrived, maybe there's a few more CV'ers that have signed up?

They've got to be out there somewhere... lurking without posting or some such atrocity.

But how are you guys doing? Ready to juggle life/school and Nano? Getting some good plotting going?

If I proclaim "I'm ready!", then I'll inevitably be struck with writer's block on Halloween night, and spend the next four weeks in wordless agony. So instead, I'm going to say, "I think I'm ready," cross my fingers, and plunge in with what little I've planned -- a couple of flimsy character sketches, a swiss cheese plot, and no idea of how it'll end.

How about you?

Three (well, now four) of us is great! The Comox thread has been rather dead the years I've done NaNo, although I didn't hang around the forums much last year.

And, @westward, you're way ahead of me, although I know I'm Not Ready and kind of need to really get moving. But I'm very excited for the first (and only) scene I've planned! :)
