I have some very shocking news.
This theme's year is NOT zombies.
*grumble grumble*
Your two lovely co-ML's have discussed this at great length, and after many terrifying nightmares... have decided we should not try and do that. For one, zombies are nasty nasty pieces of work. They get bits of themselves everywhere. Who wants to clean up after that?
But in all honesty, we feel that it would be far too much work for the way we wanted to implement. I do apologize if we have disappointed you.
BUT.
The good news. We do still have a theme, of sorts.
It's more of a competition. We will set up two teams. Team A and Team B. We will announce who is on each team the day NaNo starts. Please keep in mind this is voluntary. If you do not feel like doing this, no pressure. Once the teams are set up, whoever is on those two teams can come up with their own team name. Both teams will 'race' each other in a friendly competition. Whichever team wins, will get a small prize at the end! :) Sound exciting?
For anybody who is interested in this, please sign up below. Do keep in mind that names will be drawn randomly from Huushi's Big Lime Green Hat from last year. After the names are drawn, I will post who's who on each team.

So just to elaborate on this more.
You'll be assigned on one team. Each week Xana and I will be collecting each individual team members post done for THAT week. We'll then add each members word count.
At the end of November, the team with the most points, wins.
If anybody else wants to sign up, you have until Nov 28th to sign up. :)

We don't have to go to the meets to help out our team, do we? I don't usually head to the meets, just the main three, since me and my Grimwell are actually using Voice Recognition software to do our novels...

I was gonna do a theme in Saskatoon this year, but things didn't work out, so we HAVE no theme, just goodies. Of course, it's kind of hard to have a good theme and extra-special goodies without a mascot. Or a logo.
