Hi folks,

I've decided to try something a bit different this year in coming up with my NaNo plot: I'm not actually going to come up with it. Instead, I've chosen several promising plots from David Malki!'s fiction generator on Wondermark (link to follow) and I'm letting other people vote on it. Other people means you! So what crazy idea do you want to see me struggle with? Go vote below! I'll be very grateful if you do :)

Thanks, folks! I appreciate it!

Ha! How completely nuts! Pretty site tho...
Dragon-filled spaceflight sounds particularly dangerous (and the rest of it very Hitchhikers Guide!), and the last seems similar to the plot of the Bowie boy's movie, Moon.
What the hell is milquetoast? And schlub? Are those words supposed to be British? Never heard em, and I lived there for six years. Hmmm...
I'd love to see you work any of those into a book!

"Milquetoast" means spineless or timid. A "schlub" is a clumsy, stupid person. I had to go look them up. You should find a way to work those into your novel now that you know them :D

and thanks!

Maybe I will!
Tho my first challenge will be incorporating lots of random Dominican slang. Spent way too much time last night learning dirty words in Spanish. All in the name of authenticity, of course! El pipo!

Now here I'd be really impressed if you used milquetoast and schlub IN THE SAME SENTENCE as your Dominican slang!

Okay guys, I am going to close the survey tomorrow and solve any ties with a random number generator. So if you haven't voted, and you want to, go vote!

Alright! The survey has been closed and the winner is......
“The Psycho Wars”!

"In a dragon-filled one-way spaceflight, a young farm boy with dreams stumbles across a talking fish which spurs him into conflict with an army led by a sadist, with the help of a bookish female scholar with mousy brown hair and her condescending tone, culminating in a fistfight atop a tower."

Happy day! A novel idea! There was a three way tie in the end, which I couldn't bear to break with a random number generator. So this one ended up as The One, chosen after much agonizing.

For the curious, the votes:
The Necroblade: 0
The Psychomancers: 3
The Blacknoiacs: 2
The Aero Wars: 1
The Astronauts: 1
The Cyberdroids: 0
The Neuro Wars: 0
The Reveopolis: 2
The Reve Wars: 1
The Chrono Wars: 3
The Pyscho Wars: 3
The Necromancers: 1

Thanks, everyone who voted! Dragon-filled one-way spaceflight, here I come!
