I'm in rural east Ohio, wedged neatly between Steubenville, St. Clairsville, and Wheeling, WV. Cambrdige and New Philly just a bit further out. This is my first try at Nano. I mostly write flash to short short, so this will be a major intensity shift.

Holla Jefferson/Harrison County!
:D

Here I was thinking no one else in this small area would be doing this! I'm from Cadiz! Lol! It's hard trying to find writ-ins in this area... since... apparently no one likes to do this sort of thing. >.<

Good luck!

Love always,

My mom lives in Scio and I may be going to visit her toward the end of the month. I'll post something if I do. I would love to meet up, especially if you know any good coffee shops in the area!

Okay, if there are no good coffee places around, I could also bring a lovely tote of coffee from Panera. :D Lol! Although, I'm pretty sure somewhere in Stubenville there's a Starbucks...
But yeah, everyone meeting up would be badass!

I'm not sure about Steubie, but St. Clairsville has two (yes, two) Starbucks. I think Steubenville or Wintersville has a Tim Hortons. As for Cadiz and Scio, I have seen nothing that resembles an actual coffee shop (again, there are a few in downtown St. C). There are a few little diners, however. Adena has only bars, and not classy ones at that.

Nothing against those that live in the area, but being a Columbus girl, it gives me the heebie-jeebies to be out of cell phone reception and more than a few minutes from a latte. It is never so clear how truly high maintenance I am as while visiting my mother. :)

Yeah, I know where all the coffee places are for St. C, I work at the Panera there, so I have that area mapped out pretty well. :D

Hello all,
Just remembered to check my regions. I'm in Jefferson county myself. I live in Rayland(well, technically Connorsville). I mainly write fiction. For Nano I went back to my writing roots and action/adventure though I've been writing in the paranormal for the past year to complete a five book series I started.

Hello! I'm in Belmont County about fifteen minutes from Cadiz. Feel free to add me as a writing buddy!

Maynard, eh? Sounds like you're just on the other side of Harrisville from me then. Welcome and good luck!
