So, after the Durham meet up, it turned out that two of us were in Hartlepool, and we were wondering: Is there anyone else.
So, if you are in Hartlepool, and you want to get together or anything, or just say Hi! then, yeah... here we are :D

Hi there! I actually go to college in Hartlepool, so I'm there pretty much every day of the week! The town is actually easier for me (and my Co-ML) to get to than Newcastle, so I'm up for meet there any time. Except when I have classes, obviously.

Ohh, which college are you going to? I'm at the FE doing my English Language A Level on a Monday night at the moment.
Meeting up in hartlepool is easy for me, its not very far to go even if it is raining, and I think we actually have a reasonable coffee shop or two now as well.

I'm at the Sixth Form, though I'm actually studying English Language as well! And Maths, Chemistry and Religion...I must admit I haven't really explored it much, I'd love to meet up with you (and anyone else in the area!) sometime!

After the Durham meet, I think it is only fair that I return the compliment.
If you are organizing anything during the week I'd love to pay a visit and sample some of your new coffee shops. After all, it's only a three day journey on the bus, but I can cope with that in exchange for the convivial atmosphere. You guys are an inspiration.
I'll look out for anything that I can manage to come along to.

do you have Jo as your teacher? I have her on a Monday night at the moment.
As for organising some kind of meet up, I think that should be possible. Though it seems as though I actually have a social calendar since joining NaNo. It is a very strange thing. Looking at said calendar, I have all of next week free, save for the newcastle meet up on Saturday, and then the week after I am free Tues and Wed.
So if any of those days are good for anyone, then we might just have a plan.
Oh, but Monday's aren't good for me. Purely because I took a vow not to write anything on Monday's. Its my college day, and I'm only allowing myself to do college stuff on Monday's. (Unfortunately hosuework still has to be done. I can't get out of that.)

Well, there seem to be at least three of us here in Hartlepool, enough for a meet up anyway!
So does anyone fancy this Wednesday or Thurday afternoon/early evening?

How does Thursday afternoon sound to everyone? (I can't really do mornings becasue I am a night owl and don't get to bed before about 3am and dont get up until at least 11)
Anyway, Thursday afternoon? There are a few places we could meet. Theres a coffeeshop next to the gallery in the shopping centre (they have free wifi as well) or there is that place on the corner of York road and Par road, never been there but it looks ok. Course if we want to make it the later afternoon there is always any of the pubs in the town centre, though they may be a bit noisy.
Course if we really wanted there is always the asda/tesco/morrisons cafe's :)

Thursday afternoon would be good for me as well, maybe about 2 o'clock?
I've been in the Cafe Rappor place on Park Road/York Road and I thought it was nice; unless anyone prefers somewhere else?

Nice to see other Hartlepuds doing Nano! Everyone I mention it to has never heard of it and thinks I'm crazy. Unfortunately I can't make the meet-ups for university related stuff (I'm in the Cleveland College of Art and Design in Church Square doing costume design... working towards my BA, eek!) so... yeah, I'm here, but constantly distracted from writing by deadlines :D
