Okay, yes yes I know this is random, but I really need help....

After two weeks of planning this amazing Fantasy plot/Epic story...

I just had a really awesome idea for a Scifi Thriller >.>

Which I'm loving to death at this moment, and want to do for NaNo... BUT ... I don't want to simply toss my Fantasy plot to the side...

I don't know what to do... >.>

Help me!

I am having a similar problem, but now that I think about it, this happens EVERY YEAR. Write some normal mainstream fiction about some trials and tribulations of everyday life, or go crazy with some enormous sci-fi/fantasy espionage/conspiracy theory thing. The former was the attempt three years ago, but I eventually infused it with some stupid supernatural elements. And the latter has been the choice for the past two years, but I run out of steam and limp to the finish line.

So really this is no help at all, other than sympathy.

I've been going back and forth between two HF ideas. I haven't been able to decide, so I've just been researching both. I'm not pondering how I might be able to combine the two ideas...Taking the characters from one and plop them in the story of the other.

I've watched a handful of movies this week, and now I have like three more novel ideas. I miss the days when I could just enjoy movies instead of spending the hour following brainstorming all the ways I could tell the story better.
