Figured I would start a thread for a Warwick/Cranston/East Greenwich meet up.

Couple of places come to mind: Panera (any or all 3 of them on RTE 2), B+N on RTE 2, Borders in Cranston.

Since Providence for the moment has Saturdays, how bout Sundays for Warwick/Cranston/East Greenwich?

I have no opinion (or any real good insight, really) on location, all of those seem fine to me,
but I agree with having them on Sundays! That works perfectly with my schedule, personally. :]

Last I knew, Warwick Library (600 Sandy Lane) had a cafe. The website says it's currently closed but will reopen in the fall, which is, um now. The site might be out of date, or maybe it didn't reopen? Might give them a call and find out. Last I went there (some years ago now), the cafe was run by Felicia's, the awesome cafe based in East Greenwich. Speaking of which..

Last I also knew, Felicia's downtown E.G. store closed some years back, after they opened the huge new one at the south end of Post Road (just north of Frenchtown Road at the N.K. line). We've done some things there in the past, and it's very comfy. If you get there early enough, you can sometimes snag the big couch and chairs around the fireplace. There's power, if you ask ('cause it's hard to find), and I'm pretty sure there's wifi, too.

So far I'm working Sundays but if anyone is interested in doing meet ups during the week, I usually have a weekday off

Any of those places work fine for me, and Sunday is perfect for a meet-up.

A couple of us met a few times last year at the Panera in East Greenwich. That worked well - they've got wireless and it was usually easy to stake out a corner with a couple tables.

Any of those locations sound fine - I'm from Richmond. And Sundays usually work for me.

Can't wait to start writing, :)

I vote for Panera on Reservoir (just posted about it elsewhere not having seen this first) and I can walk to it from home :)

But am pretty flexible about anything nearbyish. Also enjoyed the crowd at the Smithfield Panera last year.

Either Panera is good for me and I wish I was on 1st shift instead of 2nd. Makes it that much harder to go to any write in I want to...

Main St. Coffee in East Greenwich is an awesome place, there's a room with a lot of tables and stuff in the back (not that I'll be around for a lot of the time but just a suggestion (= )

Anyone interested in a Friday November 6th write-in in Warwick/East Greenwich?

Possibly! I have this vague notion that I have something going on that night but if I don't, I'm in...

Anybody still want to do a meetup on Sundays?

How about the Panera in East Greenwich, Sunday afternoon, around 2pm? I can stick around for a few hours.

Christy

If you're not familiar with it, it's the one off route 2, in the same plaza as Outback and Ruby Tuesdays:
