Good news one and all!!

I got November 1st off so we can move the party a little earlier if you all want. I can go to Michigan City, LaPorte, Valparaiso, or Merrillville. (I still sadly have class on Monday :()

So anyway, any input for time or location? Or do you want to keep the original?

Talk to you all soon! I'll have another announcement in a couple days :)

Anni

Edit: How does this sound:

Merrillville Borders 1-4:30
Valparaiso Panera Bread 5-8:30

That way If it is easier to get to Merrillville, you can get goodies there.
If you still want to come to Valpo, you can get them there.

I will have some other areas for write ins during the month, but this is for the KOP.

Let me know what you all think! I'll add all the details with the location(s) and time(s) are verified. :)

Well, myself and my harem of Nano newbies will definitely be able to make it by 6. If you make it earlier, I at least will make it, they might be late. Either way!

Personally I would really prefer Merrillville, but that's just me, coming from Lowell as I am.

I don't know if I'm going to have the first off though, seeing as I already requested the 27th and 31st off, for anniversary and novel starting purposes. (I hibernate Halloween morning)

So....Don't know. That's my two cents

I can make it whenever, I get off work at 1. I like the idea of Panara Bread in Valpo, but that is just me. I'll try to make it anywhere, but Valpo I am sure I will come.

I'd vote for Michigan City or LaPorte since they are closest to me, but anywhere is fine. From what I was reading on your "hello" thread transportation is a problem for several people, so wherever. Transportation's not an issue for me as long as it's not pouring down snow or ice or something. :)

Looking forward to this!!

Almost forgot to add...if the time is still flexible earlier would be better for me, simply because it gets dark so early this time of year. I'd rather drive in the dark one way than both ways if possible.

I'll probably be there earlier and maybe to a rolling party so everyone can come at the time that is best for them... like 1-8 or something?

Valpo and Merrillville are close to me, but it's an auspicious occasion so I'll travel. I've never been to a kick-off party. I'm taking the day off, too. Awaiting the final decision on time and place.

I'm ok with any of the locations in question as well. I'll be there later in the day though, probably around 6 or so.

So is there a time and location decided. If not my vote is Merrillville Starbucks.

We (Well, I) did decide on 2 places. The Merrillville Borders and the Valpo Panera Bread.

All the times are in the calender above :)

As I said in the other comment... I'll be at Borders-Southlake Mall (Merrillville). Look for the laptop with the NaNo sticker on the lid.
