It doesn't seem like there are many of us from Cumberland County, but those of us who are - would you being interested in a Cumberland County Write-In? While Deptford and Glassboro and areas around and in-between aren't too far for me, I can't make many of the other write-ins and figured some of you might be having the same problems. While I'm in Vineland, anywhere in Cumberland County (Vineland, Millville, Bridgeton, etc) works for me! Let me know, and perhaps we can find a nice coffee shop or room in a local library to meet in!

I'd be interested. Bridgeton is the closest for me, but I work not far from Vineland. And I could certainly make it to either one of those or to Millville in the evenings.

Sounds great! I'm glad to hear it. :)
What days/times best work for you? I work two part-time jobs, so my schedule switches, but I could definitely organize Write-Ins at least a week or two in advanced. Would that work for you?
If it's only the two of us, we could probably meet in either of the Starbucks in Vineland, or there's a great used bookstore in Millville that has some seating room.

I'm in Vineland all weekend, so I'd love to meet up, if homework doesn't deter me. :)

I hope you all don't mind if I add you as my writing buddies! :)
I just started a new job, so I won't know my availability for write-ins just yet, but what do your first two weeks in November look like? What days/times are you available? Would weekends work so that MissyP could be included?
Any suggestions for where we could meet?

I don't really have a preference as far as Vineland vs. Millville. Either is fine. I haven't been to the Millville coffee shop, so might be nice to give that a try if others could make it there.
As far as timing, I know I can't do Friday nights or Saturday during the day. Generally Ok would be Saturday nights, Sundays, or most weekday evenings (with exceptions here and there).

I'm from the Bridgeton area, but Vineland sounds great (I go to school in Vineland). I'm actually game for anything, to be honest. There is a Starbucks near the Cumberland County mall.
Best day would be Sunday (although it would have to be in the afternoon) or Sunday, although Monday and Friday are plausible days if I have enough advance notice.
Being that I am in college virtually all day on Tuesday through Thursday, those days are out for me. Friday is okay if I don't work that day and I don't currently teach piano lessons on Saturday.
I'm game for whatever is open, though. My interest has actually been piqued about other NaNoWriMo writers in the area. I had been considering doing it for the past few years, but this is the first time I actually joined.

I live in Fortescue, which isn't far from Millville, Vineland or Bridgeton. I would love to do a write in but it's virtually impossible for me to get away without my kids.... My husband works from 8 a to 10-11pm mon-friday so on the weekends we try to do things together... (This is also why I think nano is going to be a huge challenge...two kids under 3 are a nonstop job..lol)
Anway, I just wanted to introduce myself to the cumberland county writers!

in Vineland. I'd say Bogart's in Millville or Fuel House in Vineland or Brenner's in Bridgeton. I'm game. I did Nano for a few years but mainly as a loner exercise. I'd love to try it with write-ins and word-wars this year.
ANd I think Reece was my creative writing teacher back in High School (way back, don't ask). Just sayin'.
I'm ready to go with nary an idea this year.

Would anyone be down to attend a Write-In on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11th? It's Veteran's Day, so maybe we can use this day off to get some hardcore writing done? Both the day and evening works best for me, and I prefer Vineland or Millville. I think someone mentioned the Starbucks in Vineland - it's small, but cozy, and I'm sure they wouldn't mind. :) There's also a great used bookstore in Millville - again, small, but very cozy. Let me know if this works for you!
If the weekday doesn't work, Saturday November 14th also works for me, however I'm taking Praxis that day, so I'm not sure how into writing I'll be. :P

I think i can make that one, and i think that Bogart Books (formerly Windchimes) in Millville would be a better option- less likely to be disturbed by average business like at starbucks, and very easy to find (it's downtown, central location, can't remember the street name, but it's the next one over from Buck Street by the river).
:)
i'm not sure if i'm off school that day or not (millville), so perhaps the evening hours would be best?

I don't think Rowan has off on Wednesday. -_- I should be around Saturday, with the exception of 4-6, though...

For those of you who can do Wednesday, how does 3-5 at Bogart's sound (http://www.bogartsbookstore.com)? We can't do any later there since it closes at 6 PM on Monday-Thursday. Also, if this time/day works for everyone, I'll be sure to call ahead and make sure they're even open on the holiday.
If that time/location doesn't work, we could do later. I know Starbucks is a less peaceful, but we could always do the one in Target in Millville, since it's less frequented (again, I'll scope it out beforehand to see how roomy it is).
If anyone wants to do Saturday, that's great! Unfortunately, I can't work about the MissyP89's 4-6 time block (unless you decided to meet later, in which case I could probably attend). :)
