For the last few years there has been a Word War between the regions in Britain and Ireland and we have been invited to become involved again.

For this there is a lot of honour involved, so those who sign up for Dublin will hear my whip cracking behind them if they begin to slacken off. We went screaming up the ratings last year - mostly as a result of a spectacular count from Brendan.

Joking aside, who would like to do this, for Dublin?

Have a real job this year so no promises of another 150K this year but the projects I have in mind have been there for some years and are almost complete in form so that means all I have to do is get it on the screen. Sign me up and let the challenge heat up

2008. Blade, on Ice. A discussion on Love & Short stories. 150K
2007. Mighy Micks. 53K

I think competing against the British will spark my fire - which is something I need considering I'm planning on hitting my word count before the 20th.

Count me in, Mamo.

OK, so nine people have, so far, signed up for this:barby_lucedistelle; brendanstamp; Kelt; lara_aine; Mamo; Mistwalker; Phantomphreak; secretly-broken; xparawhorextwerdx. Is this right?

Is everyone still willing to go with this? I shall register the Dublin entry for the War tomorrow, so for anyone else who wants to bale in or anyone who wants to bale out, this is your opportunity.

cmftc, I have sent you a 'NaNoMail' which might be helpful. If you go to your home page and click on 'Check and Send NaNoMail' to find it.

Not a problem, but for which region? You have registered as 'Europe :: Ireland :: Elsewhere'.

Do you wish to join the Dublin team?

If you don't mind.
Does it matter much if Dublin isn't my home region? I didn't put as my home region because I'm not living there currently, but I was a few years ago.

That's fine - you're very welcome. I just had trouble finding you (and your ID to register you) but I have the information now and will add you to our list.
