Yo. I got in a car wreck today. I'm all bruised and battered, sporting a lovely purple grape on my chest (ouch). However, having my car totalled means I can't drive to the meetings, so it seems like both Deo Ward and I will be unable to attend any meetings (since I drive her to meetings).

Hopefully I'll still be able to work on my story without meeting up for support. I miss you guys a lot. Haven't really seen y'all since last November. <3

S'all good. I brought her the cookies of healing and we engaged in the Gauntlet of protection. :) And we might make at least one or two meetings, if my parents might be persuaded or tricked into allowing me the long drive out. They loathe my seemingly mindless waste of gas.

Speaking of which, is there anyone out near Evans, GA? I know I seem to gripe on this a lot, but it quite a drive to BaM from Evans and I was wondering if we could either carpool or perhaps arrange another meeting time during the week, perhaps at a closer location? Maybe meet every once in a while in the new Target center (Mullins) at the Panera for a little while? I don't know. I am just wondering.

So we finally got word from Cushmans... the car is totalled, meaning I'll need a new car. Lol, new "used" car.... oxymoron much? Hehe.

But yeah, this really sucks. I was really planning on attending every meeting, since this is the first year I had the means to get myself to BAM and back. I'm really disappointed that I won't be able to make any meetings in the near future. Really, it hurts.

I don't know that I could carpool to the BaM location, but we'll be living out near N Belair and 20 starting next week so a meeting place in Evans would work for me. Of course, I could have a baby anytime in November so I'm not sure I could give rides or anything. I definitely couldn't commit to ride-sharing as a regular thing even if I was able to do it for a couple meetings.

I'm sorry to hear about your car... we've had a lot of car trouble this year also. Right now the only car we have that's working is our 30-yo VW bus! Our newer car will probably not get fixed until next year. I'm hoping the bus will hang on for a while without needing anything major - we've poured enough money into the one that's not currently running *sigh*
