Hello, Conway! I've just sent an email to everyone about a couple of scheduled events. I'll post those dates here as well.

Monday, October 26 - Plotting Workshop 6:00-8:00, UCA Writing Center, corner of Donaghey and College (across from Papa John's Pizza). Plenty of plots, character buckets, you name it. Let's get together and play a bit while we can! Coffee and tea on the ready, as well as comfy couches and plenty of desks. There's even one "old school" 40s model Remington typewriter for anyone so inclined. Come on by!

Sunday, November 1 - Kick-Off Party and Write-In, 1:00 - 3:00, also at the UCA Writing Center. This is a potluck event with NaNoGoodies for all. An excellent beginning to a perfect month of noveling. We'll also vote on weekly Write-In scheduling - looks like Sunday afternoons or Monday nights, so let me know what you prefer. I'll do my best to accommodate.

I'm so ready to begin. You?

Thanks,

----------

You know me, I prefer Monday nights, though I'll probably be available for Sunday evenings through November.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it tomorrow, though. I'll try. It's been a long weekend--we'll just have to see how the night goes, and whether I'm up for the drive tomorrow. *shrug* Sorry, Monda! Good luck with the meeting!

I will be at both of the events. Both Sundays and Mondays work for me. It will just depend on some days whether other matters need to take priority over the writing.

The Plotting Workshop is Monday night (the 26th). Our Kick-off/Write-In is on the first Sunday (I can't wait!) but we'll decide on the best day for weekly Write-Ins when we get together.

I hope you can come!

Hey, all! Now is the writing center the same place we met last year for the write-ins? (Gosh, has it been that long?) I'm gonna try to make it Monday, cause I could really use some last-minute inspiration. It's looking like Monday nights could work better for me, depending on what time Sunday afternoon we'd have it.

So excited! The frenzy is almost upon us.

Same place as last year. I've got scads of creative goodies to get us going.

The Big Kick-Off is Sunday, November 1st from 1-3 in the afternoon, same place. Oh, the goodies I'm scheming up for THAT day...!

I am not that familiar with UCA's campus, is that the Tompson Center? I am looking at the map from

Thanks for your help,
Lisa

Thompson Hall is the large building with columns on the corner of Donaghey and Bruce Streets on the edge of campus. It's right across the street (Donaghey) from Papa John's Pizza. There's plenty of parking in the huge parking lot across Bruce Street.

That map is difficult to read. Thompson Hall isn't in the middle of campus as the map suggests, it's on the corner.Just let me know what direction you're coming from and I can get you all the way there quite simply.

Who's coming? I can't wait!
