Hi Everyone,
How about a Write-In on Wednesday nights, say 7:00, at the Review cafe in the Tower District (on Olive a few blocks east of Palm). Anyone interested?

I'm in...but my suggestion for location would be Teazers in downtown at the Galleria. They also have free wi-fi, lots of indoor/outdoor space and it would be less congested than Tower.

I'm in for write-ins on Wednesday nights! Personally, I have no opinion where they're held.

I'll try to make some - no matter where we meet.
No promises, though - I have a bit of a commute and my nephew carpools with me... doubt he'd be thrilled about sitting at a cafe with me while I ignore him and write a novel :)

Would anyone want to get together next Wed., Oct. 28th at 7pm at Teazers in downtown for a little kick-off? It's last minute, but it'll be a good icebreaker before the first write-in. Reply if you're interested so we can all have a good gauge of how many people will make it :)

I'm going to be out of town on business the last two weeks of nano, so i won't be there it finish with you guys but I really hope to make the first few. Anywhere in the surrounding Fresno area (Clovis, Sanger, Kerman) is good, just post an address and I can find it.

Won't be able to make it to the kick-off, but I'll certainly try to catch a few write-ins this year.

Thanks to all the Nano's and supporters that came out to tonight's kick-off! I'd have to say that it was a successful turn out. For all of you who missed it, we're going to keep posting updates about get-togethers on this thread.

Lucky us...for the start on Nov. 1st the Teazer's location in downtown (which is normally closed on Sundays) has agreed to graciously open their doors to us beginning at 4:00pm! There is one catch...you must buy some tea :) I think that's a fair trade, don't you? If you can't make it on the 1st...we'll be setting up shop for the first write-in at Teazers downtown on Wednesday, Nov. 4th in the evening (whenever you can get there). If anyone wants to go more than one day a week, and you want some company, feel free to post it on here for meet-ups.

For a look ahead...we're toying with the idea of doing an all-nighter here in Fresno the Saturday before NaNo is hosting their "Night of Writing Dangerously." If you're not planning on going to S.F. and you're up for it, keep the evening of Saturday the 21st open. We're thinking maybe a Denny's for location. I'll keep you posted.

I'm looking foward to meeting everyone. I'll be attending today's write-in, 11/1 at Teazer's. Thanks for all the great organization.

Hey everyone...I'm here at Teazers in downtown, not to be confused with the location in Tower. Here's the address just in case: 2405 Capitol St., Ste. 104, inside The Galleria at Civic Center. Come on down when you can! Remember, they opened especially for us!

Hey everyone...we're doing another write-in tonight at the Teazers location in downtown (not to be confused with the Tower location) - the address is 2405 Capitol St., Ste. 104, inside The Galleria at the Civic Center. I plan to get there around 6pm...they're open until 11pm. There is parking in the back. Tonight also happens to be 'Salsa Night!' So if you get stuck...you can let off some steam by dancing for a bit :) The music is not intrusive at all. They have been very gracious and accommodating to us, hope you can make it out there!

Hey regular Wednesday night write-in goers. I'm really sad that I wont be able to make it to tonight's write-in. I've got a nasty cold and I don't want to contaminate everyone. You all have a great write-in and I'll see you next week!
