Anyone here in the Beaches area? I am not sure how many of the official events I'll get to because I have a hectic work/school/life schedule right now but I'll likely be kicking around the Beaches library, the Remarkable Bean, Fox Theatre if/when I'm writer's blocked, etc... I don't know why I'm jumping into NaNo this year but Chris' emails are like siren calls ;) Now if only I had a plot, setting, or characters.... |

I'm not in the Beaches but out in your general direction (Danforth/Woodbine-ish). I'm still mulling over the events calendar and figuring out which things I can make it to (bit of a challenge with a 2 year old at home to get to anything), but if there are other east-enders around, perhaps an unofficial write-in at some point...?

Small World Cafe on Danforth (about halfway between Woodbine and Coxwell) is decent, although because they have a children's playspace it can be pandemonium sometimes. There's a newer coffee place a couple of doors east of Danforth & Woodbine (True Brew, I think it's called? Across the street from Value Village) that might be worth a look for solo writing or a small meetup.

Me too (well - singular 'kid' in my instance, but usually I'm at that coffee shop FOR the kids' play area).
