KICK OFF PARTY!!
Our official Kick-Off party will be held on Friday, October 30, at 8:00 pm at the Baker's home. The official calendar says we'll run until 10 pm, but Pam has said that we can stick around longer if we'd like to. Many of you have been there before, but many of you haven't (or have lost the directions!). We will NOT be posting directions to this location online because it is a residence.
If you plan to attend this kick-off party, please RSVP by sending an email to macon (dot) nano (at) gmail (dot) com by Thursday, October 29 at midnight. Please include your email address, and I will send everyone an email with directions to the Baker's home. I'll have directions emailed by 6:00 pm on Friday. If, by some chance, you RSVP and don't receive directions by then, send another PM, and I'll try again.

WRITE-IN #1
We're meeting at Joshua Cup, downtown Macon, for a write-in today!
I'm already here, wearing my ML-identifying shirt of unspeakable brightness (it's fluorescent green!), and my laptop has blue and white flowers on it - come on out! We'll be here until at least 6:30, and we'll be writing our fingers off!

We'll be meeting up at Atlanta Bread Company in Warner Robins on Thursday, November 12. The official meeting time is from 6-7pm, but we tend to hang around for a while longer. :)

MID-MONTH MEETING!
Our Mid-Month Meeting will be held on Saturday, November 14, at Violet's house in Warner Robins from 6:00pm until whenever. Many of you have been there before, but many of you haven't (or have lost the directions!). We will NOT be posting directions to this location online because it is a residence.
To make this party a success we ask that you please bring three things with you (if possible/if you would like!):
* A dollar or two to put towards ordering pizzas
* Whatever beverage you would like to drink
* A printed excerpt from your novel of about 500 words or less (we will be reading these aloud, don't be shy!)

Our next official Write-In is scheduled for this Thursday, November 19 at Joshua Cup in Macon. We'll officially start at 5:30pm, but because that's so close to the end of the work day, don't panic if you can't be there on time! We'll hang out after 6:30 - last time, we wrote until almost 7:30 before people started leaving.
