Let's Meet-up! All the other meet-ups are in the middle of nowhere for Lazy Pedestrian Man

Planned using this handy chart:

Objective: To Find a Relatively Quiet, Cheap Restaurant suitable for Meet-up'ing. Then to Meet-up!

Goal: Ideas, Interest.

Time: I can be free any time or day, since I'm freelance, but since I don't drive in Jax it'd be best for me to do something near the Orange Park Mall area.

Folk: I'm a social drinker and talker. So are you, probably.

Dress Code: Casual w/Shoes. Violators will have to be slightly more witty.

Anyways, anybody interested?

David

That could be a lot of fun (Says the ML who appears suddenly out of nowhere) There's a really great sushi place just down Wells from the mall. And it's relatively cheap. At least compared to some of these other places. Not sure how conducive it would be to writing though..

I'm in that area a lot these days, so I'm sure we can find a good time for a write-in.

And I'm always up for social drinking. :-)

Yes. I've never been to that place, but it probably isn't as crowded or loud as the other places I have been to. Cheap is also good, assuming they have an assortment of drinks, not just Kirin and sake. Tactically speaking, a weekday meeting would help keep that to a minimum as well, to avoid the notorious Jacksonville Weekend Sushi Crowd.

I don't know the schedules of normal humans, being self-employed. Sometime after 5pm would probably be generally acceptable. Shall we have a meeting before the start just to try to announce our plots with a straight face?

my days off are all over the place... that is what happens when you are a manager in the fast food business. Also, have the time I'll have to take the six year old (unless I can bribe someone). Generally off by 2 and back across the bridge before 3. The Orange Park Mall/Wells area sounds like a great idea.

I eat a lot of sushi... But, not to sure on the places in that area.

I would, however due to my work being international, I work late hours and will be working when most people are either sleeping or meeting up. However, I will keep watching; if time allows, I might pop into a meetup or two.

I'm game most days (till I get a job.. ) give me a name and a place... easier to get to OP than all the way over to Regency.
