I suspect that this will be a great year. Kudos to you for having a dream and doing something about it! We hope it is worthwhile enough to merit a small donation to the Office of Letters and Light for your enjoyment of the event. NaNoWriMo is a nonprofit, and—like all nonprofits—ever in need of funding.
This year the estimated cost of National Novel Writing Month and the Young Writers Program is over $375,000. There are many ways to help out!

It's possible to donate less than ten dollars but PayPal eats up a lot of that with fees and you can't get any goodies. Which leads me to...
Wree-Mo the Pig - Wree-Mo the Pig is our regional donation tip jar. Wree-Mo will be at every write-in, hungry for change. And bills. At the TGIO we'll smash him open and send the money to HQ under the regional name. (If he fills up before the TGIO then we smash him at a write-in and he will be reincarnated at the next one.) Whatever goodies we get for our donation will be up for draw at the TGIO. ***Must be present to win, although the goodies may not be, depending on when we can get the donation sent in. Goodies will be mailed to winners as soon as they arrive.** Last year Wree-Mo had about $36 in him - let's try to go for an even $50 this year!
