Hi! I'm actually from Alabama, but I'm going to be in NO from 10/24 to 11/2 and so I'll be missing my local nano kick-off. I was wondering if there are any events planned around town because I'd love to drop in while I'm working on my first couple days! |

New Orleans doesn't have an ML this year, so I don't think anyone's planning anything official. We DESPERATELY need an ML, or at least someone who's good at organizing this stuff. Personally, I'm just getting together with a friend of mine and noveling it up at her house with an iPod, a laptop, and a TON of coffee.

Unfortunately, I'm going to be getting to a late start this year. I have to manage a costume contest where I work. If anyone would like to come in and exchange "Good Luck" wishes, I'll be at Cats Meow on Bourbon. Look for the black eyed vampire in the leather pants.
