The only point when it's too late is midnight, December 1st! If you've registered on the NaNo website (which you obviously have, or you wouldn't be able to post), you're signed up as officially as it gets. Look around the forums and the rest of the web site (especially the stuff under About), for more information on what NaNo is like and how much fun you'll have during those wild 30 days of writing!
