Hey guys,
I know I'm planning to write from 12 AM - 2AM (keeping up with a proud tradition) before hitting the hay once Halloween flips over to Nov. 1st.
I thought I'd check and see if anyone else wanted to join me!
This is a more casual sort of gathering, so we can even do it at my house if there are a lack of good places to write at that time of night.
If you're interested, reply to this thread and let me know! I'd be willing to drive as far as Collinsville to meet with a group if there's a place that's open and able to host us from 12-2. Let me know.
-Sean

Some of us intend to still be partying at that time, Mr. Jordan!
----------Eight lords sleeping till it’s foretold
By an old hand they will be stirred
One a tree that’s grown too old
One a sound that’s never been heard
One a shade that hasn’t a caster
One a light been swallowed by a bird
One hangs like a ghost in the sky

And some of us intend to get a couple of thousand words going once the clock strikes midnight! ;-)
I've done this every year since I started NaNo. I'm gonna keep the tradition, but I thought I'd invite others like myself who don't get invited to exciting parties to take the far-more-fulfilling route of a midnight writing jam :-)

Since I'll be awake anyway, I was definitely planning on starting then. Just let me know where to be!

If I have any gas left in the tank, I might be up for a midnight writing session.
All Saints Day. Good way to start things, that.

Are we writing at Chez Jordan?

Angelis - let's see who's coming first, and then we'll work out a plan. If worse comes to worse, we can meet at a Steak N Shake or something so that everyone doesn't have to drive to Belleville.
I'm guessing Stacie will NOT be joining us since she needs her beauty sleep, and since I want her to stay beautiful! :-)

I will of course not be there, I will be sleeping, due not being a night owl. Now if any one wants to get up early for some pre-kickoff writing let me know! I will be pounding away early in the day

I'm only 2.1 miles from the Fairview Hts Steak N Shake, so if you'd prefer not to host it, Sean, or if proximity is a big deal, then my place is available. I can host 4-6 comfortably but up to eight if some people don't mind using sofas and coffee tables. I'll need some warning though so I have time to bake something, because right now...I've got nothing.

As I said in the meeting tonight at Borders, I'm done with doing a midnight shift. Just keep us posted with the where.
I wish I could start it now! I'm sure by week two I'll be regretting the whole thing. :D
