I think everyone finds their own methods of NaNo survival.

Some of the best advice I can give you is to try to sneak in writing time whenever you have even just a spare five minutes. Those little minutes can add up to some big word counts. Try writing at different times and see which one works best for you. I used to write on my lunch hours and I could get in a lot sometimes and then I'd take it home. If you think you'll be writing in different places from different computers, I cannot tell you how much I recommend Google Docs. It keeps everything on their site so it won't be on any of the computers you use and as long as you have internet you can get to it.

Another idea for if you're going to be using multiple computers, and may not always have internet access is to use a thumb drive and keep everything on it. A friend of mine does that.
