Hi guys! I'm getting more and more excited about the kick-off and I'm ready to start writing for NaNo! Right now, I'm waiting for a lot of transitions in life, so I'm kind of bored. (eep!)
Anyway, do any of you have writing blogs or do any blogging or livejournaling or whatever? Please share! I want to get to know some of the people around here and it gives me something to do.
I just started a new blog for NaNo that will transition into a personal blog for family and friends once NaNo is over. I'm still doing some fine-tuning, but you can check it out of you're as bored as I am. ;) The link to it is in my signature or here.

Hiya, Arielle!
I have a writing blog at http://storieswritethemselves.blogspot.com . I'm trying to get in the routine of posting more regularly, but you know how that is! =)
I look forward to snooping in on yours whenever time allows ;-)
I have a LJ but recently decided (today in fact!) to create a new one. My current one has been running for 4 years and everytime I read it, I get kind of depressed. Haha! I went through a lot the past 4 years and I'm ready to move on, y'know? Once I create my new LJ, I'll post the link here.

I just started my blog a couple of weeks ago.... feel free to follow me and comment --- I'll do the same. I'm too excited about all of this, I'm hoping its not for the moment but throughout the month of Nov. I'm going to blog for 30 days straight in Nov about my mood and everything else in between life and NaNaWriMo.

I'm workng on importing my entries from another blogging site currently so it's still rather sparce. The other site has YEARS worth of entries, but I'm still trying to decide if I want to bring over everything or just start over fresh. =/
Mine is pretty informal and tends to ramble on more about things in general rather than following a certain theme. So I guess from here we can pull the whole, "I'll follow you if you follow me!" Lol. =D

I have been using my blog for a while now (a few months) and I plan to give updates on my nanowrimo there through out the whole thing. I may give daily updates but I am not making any promises to that. Instead my plan is to give a weekly word count on their...Yep I am all getting ready for this.

Yay, so I followed everyone that posted blogspot blogs and I found some new people to follow on Twitter!
Faeth: Yeah, I know how it is sometimes when you know you need to post something but you just don't have the time or you just don't feel like it. Or at least, that's how it is for me sometimes. With my previous blog that I kind of scrapped, I always wanted to update, but just couldn't bring myself to the keyboard to do so. I think that regularly updating a blog though helps straighten things out. Kind of like journal writing.
LukeSDonavan: Followed :D
maxxgrl: Thanks for giving me the first comment on my new blog! I hope to see you at some of the West Houston write-ins.
Fave: Wow, you have a lot of things going on. I don't see how you have time for NaNo!
FourteenthTarget: Hello again! I'll definitely read it, as long as you keep updating! :)
Miss.Jaded: Informal blogs are the best. I'll be rambling a bit on my blog too. But that's what it's for, right? I noticed that some of the text on your newer entries was kind of difficult to read against the background. No biggie, but you might want to check it out.
SamanthaJo08: I love your list idea. I hope you can complete all of them, some seem kind of tough. I may try out a list like that. Though, I don't know if I can think of 101 things. I think instead of buying a Kindle, you should check out nook from Barnes and Noble. I want one so bad (and I already have a Kindle).

Fixed!
I'm in the process of putting some HTML coding for a template that suites me a little more...at the moment I'm just using a pre-made template from Blogger. I went ahead and chose another one though, just so it's easier to read until I get the damned coding worked out. =) It usually doesn't take me this long, but with opening night at the theatre and what not, I just have not had the time to sit and work out the kinks!

I can't believe I forgot my Twitter handle (@fave). That's the most frequented activity I have.
In order to make time for Nano, some things are going to be simmered down in order to focus. With all the digital movement, it will be cool to focus on the analog activity of "writing" for a month. Plus, writing for an online publication keeps my mind sharp.
November can't get here soon enough.

My blog is It's All a Matter of Perspective. November's a big month for me - in addition to the day job, family "stuff," Scouting outings, and NaNoWriMo, my second children's book is due to launch. I doubt I'll be blogging the novel, since I'm hoping to write a publishable (after NaNoEdMo) young adult novel. But using it to procrastinate and bitch about the writing process? You bet.
If anyone would like to be added to my NaNoWriMo blog roll, please go over to Google Docs:

and fill in your information. Feel free to grab a copy (there's no much there, yet) from column I.

Hi,
I just found out about nanowrimo tonight (31 Oct.) and have decided to join in. Guess I'm a little behind as I don't have a plot, characters, targeted age group, genre, etc. but oh well, I'm diving right in. I have a blog called Spend Wisely Texas at http://www.spendwiselytexas.com. I moved to Texas in March and I've been exploring Texas and writing (and making videos and taking pictures) of things to do and buy that don't cost much money. I've always dreamed of writing a novel, now I've got the chance. Hmmm, just need that plot idea. . .

I keep... several blogs, lol. The main one I'd want to pimp is the blog on my website. It generally contains art-related updates, but will undoubtedly contain lots of NaNo-related things this month. I also have a Livejournal that's updated sporadically -- mostly also with art-related things.
I have an anime, manga, comics, and movie-related opinion blog that is on unofficial hiatus at the moment because I have FAR too much going on in my life right now, but I'm proud of the content I do have there.
And then I have a deviantART journal I never update and of course, the microblog, Twitter, which will DEFINITELY be filled with me whining about my wordcount all month.

I write for Examiner.com. I report on silly celebrity gossip and happenings, so there's not much creative writing involved. But it does give me a chance to flex my vocabulary on a nearly daily basis. Besides, I enjoy writing about Robert Pattinson and the Olsen twins. Anything for a cheap smile. ;)
