Just curious to see who is planning to attend the Kick-Off party this Sunday. I'll be there with my daughter; my husband and son have a father/son event at the same time, or they'd be there too.

I will be there! I might have to leave half an hour early or so, though.

I'm gonna try to be there, but it all depends on how my MS is that day. Right now it is one day at a time. Right now I am having more Stone Weeks than Diamond Days.

My sister chose this as a, "Hey, the kids and I are going to come down this weekend, without notice, and take up all your time so you can't do anything that you really wanted to" day.
Go figure. If I can kick them out I'll be there. If not, I'll see y'all at the midnight rally!

I won't be there, and I'm pretty sad about it. I always enjoy the kickoff stuff... But for the first time in a LONG time, my job has me working a Sunday shift. Ugh. I'll be there in spirit :)

Aaand Tria found her way back to her car! So the event was a complete success. Seeing everyone was fantastic, familiar faces and new friends ^_^

I'm sorry that I missed it. Family plans cropped up at the last minute and, let's face it, I'm not the master of my own schedule. :) I hope to meet everyone at the write-ins.

It was good to meet y'all. I'm at home digging out all my accumulated materials, reviewing my collected reference bits and notes, and planning my schedule. I plan to build my characters during the next week, so they will be ready to roll on Day 1.
My wife is thrilled I'm getting back around to this; she's being very supportive.
A correction: I put my Forum ID down on the clipboard as Phil Boncer, but it's just PhilB.
This is my first year at this, but I'm feeling eager and excited.
