East West is hosting two write-ins: on November 2 and 17, from 5 - 7 PM, in their event room. They'll provide tables, chairs, plug-ins, and the soothing sound of water fountains. No coffee allowed, unfortunately, but drinking water is fine. Afterward, you can head to a local coffee shop or restaurant for drinks and eats. The bookstore is located at 324 Castro Street in downtown Mountain View, within walking distance of CalTrain and buses. Seating is limited to 18, so you must call to reserve a space beforehand. 650-988-9800. First come, first served in terms of plugs.

I'm not sure if I'll make it (so I don't wanna call in and reserve), but can I just walk in if I get the chance? I don't need an outlet since I handwrite my stuff so...?

Hi DIgby - the bookstore is hosting the event? Cool! Do you want me to add it to the regional calendar as well or just leave it as a thread here?
