Writing at home, locked away in the back room, it is easy for me to forget that I am not the only writer. It is opportunities like NaNoWriMo that open my eyes to all of the writers right under my nose. I look forward to actually meeting some of you and developing support groups through this connection.
I'm in Guntersville, but you can also find me on face book:

And on my blogs.
Please feel free to holler at me. I would love to start up regular writing groups!

Guntersville? Wow! I didn't know anyone else lived in Guntersville.
This is definantly a holler to start up regular writing groups. (I have no facebook or twitter, so I couldn't contact you that way)
Do you know where Percasso's is? I know I'll be there quite a bit during November.

I live in Decatur. Anyone over this way? I'd love to be part of a writer's group.

Hi, Kathy! I'm in Athens. I haven't checked the write-in schedule with my work schedule yet, but maybe we can get together?

I'm from Florence...originally from Russellville, and I'm lucky enough to have a group (small) of writers writing with me. We call ourselves the Guild of the Fantastic Quill...I'll link to our blog at the end of this post. Our founding member...and the one that introduced us all to Nano...is posting daily things during Nano to encourage, help, and challenge us. We do challenges, also...All are welcome to join, no matter where you're from. We do poetry, original, and fan fiction challenges.
Anyway, there's really just a handful of us here at Florence that I'm aware of...I'd love to know some more! Anyone out there??

PatriciaL,
Great to see you here. Wanted to let you know that the Quad cities has a new forum too this year and an official ML has stepped up to bring all our friend in the northwest part of our fair state to activities. Take a look for the forum and see what Hope has planned. Have fun and good luck on your writing.

Hey Naoi - I know where Percasso's is and you'd be surprised how many writers there are in Guntersville. My problem is seeing them. It is so rare that I make time to get together with others - and I have to make that a priority!
Looking forward to getting to know you.
