I am willing to make banners for your signature, but I didn't want the influx of people shouting for banners that I'd get if I advertised in the Arts forum. So I thought I'd just offer them to my fellow Houston NaNoers... :D
The banner in my signature's my own work, and I've got a couple others I've done in the past. Here's mine from last year- sweet and simple:

My novel is called: Destined to Rule. Basic premise (if that helps with the banner design), is that an assassin kills the old king and is placed, by the will of the king, on the throne. There are rules imposed on the new ruler, but that's not important to a banner.

Hi Rodwen,
You are an angel for offering to do banners for we less image-savvy nanoers! I'm varying a theme I started this summer when I realized I needed to take better care of myself, ie more exercise. This summer's theme was {ahem} NO WORK OUT, NO WINE. In accordance with NANO I've decided to make the ultimate sacrifice and adjust my mantra to ..... NO WORDS, NO WINE! Okay it should really be NO WORDS, NO WORKOUT, NO WINE but I'm flexible. If you can come up with a banner for that I will be forever in your debt or maybe I'll just really thank you a whole big bunch or if I come up with more than 50,000 words I'll give you my extras if you need them!

Could you do one for my plot bunny? The image I had in mind was an eye shining from the middle of a helmet of a soldier(female) (US wearing kevlar(helmet) while their eyes are half hidden by the helmet. Background (and some in front) like a sandstormy.
Right above the soldier's helmet would read "INF 41 Psi"
I know every detail may not be possible, but I realy appreciate the thought you put for your fellow nanos T_T Thank you.

Okay, so that kind of makes my day!
My Nano is called Seer. It's about a seer (no way) Giacomo, who keeps on seeing horrible visions of death and destruction, like the world burning and so on. And in all of these dreams, there's a beautiful amber-eyed woman that's causing all of this. So probably something simplistic, with dark colors and flame, and hopefully the woman. :D It's way more complicated, but that may not help.

Mine is called "Blame it on the Weatherman" a satire of sorts about MMC, who finds himself sitting in an office in Hell, which Satan has modernized to function much like a large business. Upon MMC's arrival, several Heads of State are at war for a coveted position and Mutiny is working overtime - literally. Amidst the chaos, MMC is set up & takes the fall for a collassol failure & is now fighting to (a) learn why he's there, because he just can't believe it & (b) how to get out.
