At tonight's kick off party, we decided to have a word count competition between the North, South, East and West. At the end of November we will tally the count and the winning area will have their names placed in a hat at the TGIO party for a chance to win a Borders gift card, and ITunes gift card. I would like to ask that anyone who wishes to help purchase these please send me $1 or $2. There are enough of us that no one should need to send more than that. If we get a lot I will purchase a couple of Borders cards or a Nano t-shirt for the drawing.
If you will be coming to a North write-in you can just give me the money there, or you can mail it to Charity Bradford--Davis Lake Communique, 9000 Davis Lake Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28269.
