Ok, there is now a definite kickoff party in my area, even if only 2 people show up.
7pm-9:30pm at Oak Flats Rollerskating Rink, 137 Industrial Rd Oak Flats just south of Wollongong.

Just chiming in with the costs - $10 entry, and skate hire is $2. :)
To make it easy to pick me out from the rabble: I'll be wearing either this year's NaNo shirt or last year's (it depends on whether or not my shirt and hoodie arrive in time) - red shirt if I'm wearing this year's. I wear glasses, and have dark brown wavy hair to my shoulders. And I'll probably be wearing a scarf - light and dark blue striped. :)

Write-in/NaNo Meet-up for Northern NSW - Mid North Coast, North Coast, Northern Rivers, Northern Tablelands
Where: Cold Rock Ice Creamery, 372 Harbour Drive, Coffs Harbour
When: Saturday, 21st November, 4pm
Who: I am my username... ergo, I am very tall and Blonde. Not hard to miss.
Going on last year's meet-up, we met for around 2 hours - discussed our novels, writing in general and encouraged each other to push on to the finish line. All four of us that met won NaNo last year - I'm hoping that the meet-up contributed a little to that success.
