Yep, since November 1 falls on a weekend day again this year, we are going to Kick Off NaNoWriMo with an All-Day Write-In Marathon!
Start time: 9am (when Paperchase Cafe opens)
End time: 8pm (When Paperchase Cafe closes)
Venue: Paperchase Cafe, lower level
We'll be on the lower level so that everyone will have a place to sit with tablespace. The couches are nice but once we go beyond 10 people, we, uh, tend to start running out of space.
You do not have to be there the whole day (unless you feel like it. The couch in the corner, though, is MINE at 2pm) and you are all free to come in and go out whenever you feel like it.
Paperchase has a wide range of foodstuff available, as well as drinks, so you don't have to leave the store for sustenance. I highly encourage you all to buy foodstuffs and drinks from the 'Chase, to show support and gratitude to them for letting us dominate half the cafe.
There will be word wars, and we will take a collective wordcount every hour or so.
For those unable to attend, we will attempt to be on chat (MSN and IRC) so you can bask the encouragement frazzledog and I have to offer.
Also, those who would like to be there early but can't get a ride in, if you want to stay over my place the evening before, you can.
ETA: The Wrimo who has the highest wordcount at the end of the write-in gets a treat from Susie's Shortbreads on my dollar.

I told myself that if I could make it to nothing else, I'd make it to the kickoff! I'll be able to make it to most Saturday/Sunday events until the 22nd (Which is when my hubby flies out to BMQ).
