...besides my roommate, who I roped into this with me? C'mon, I know midterms are coming up, but that didn't stop me last year!

Not Tulane, but Loyola. :D I've been swamped with midterms and papers, but that's not gonna stop me either!

Howdy, neighbor! I'm sure there's more NaNo'ers out between our two campuses in hiding... perhaps we could have some kind of writing shenanigans if more crawl out from the woodwork.

Yep! At least three more who don't look like they're paying attention to this thread (two of them are in my suite, so I have easy access).

(Also, hey, I see you're from Washington. Yay! I'm from Ellensburg.)

Hey! I'm one of those three others that Manami mentioned. Sorry, I haven't really been on the forums recently. I may know one other person. I'm not sure if she decided to do this or not.

Woo, I knew y'all were out there!

And a special shout-out to all my PSP brothers who are either joining now or were already in on this!

I'm at Tulane! I don't know any other people in person who are doing it, though.

I'm one of the ones not paying attention that Manami mentioned. I'm still trying to remember how this site works from last year. But yeah I'm a "Tulane Kid." woot.

I'm in Tulane too. Don't know of anyone else who does it from here though, but here I am.

We totally should all mob some place and do something. Alas, if i make a suggestion as to where, then I'll likely have to arrange it *le sigh*

I'm currently freaking out about a test tomorrow, but sometime after that! If you guys all just want to mob the willow PJ's or something, I could make up a batch of cookies and we can all just sit around and write. And eat cookies. Yes?

That would be lovely. May I suggest Friday afternoon, but not too late, maybe 3,4ish? That way it doesn't cut into evening clubs, and late night cramming for tests. Not that anyone would be doing that on a Friday, I should hope.

I am so down with this. I have class til 3:30 on Friday, but any time around 3 or 4 would be fine. Loyola's a small campus, so wandering over to PJ's won't be a problem. :) I'm really excited to meet some fellow writers.

I just joined today! Yeah, I'm a bit slow on the uptake, but it sounds fun.
I go to Tulane as well :)

Don't think I can make it to the PJ's meet on Friday because I'll be out of town, but hopefully we'll meet more than once.

Hey - Good luck to you students, especially Tulane. I am an Alum! I am writing an historical novel that takes place in NOLA and plan on coming down around the 16th to do some research and more serious writing. It's day 4 and I have 6721. I can't imagine trying to go to class and keep up with studies and all that writing.

A meetup on Friday sounds awesome! I have plans starting around 5, but I would totally be up for chilling at PJs before then.

Hey everyone!

I'm a "Tulane kid". Nice to meet y'all.

A meeting at PJ's sounds great. Which PJ's, though? The one on Willow or the one on Freret?

The one on Willow. Hope to see you there :)

I'll try to claim a table outside around 3:30ish. Look for the distressed girl with a plate of chocolate chip cookies and a laptop! I'm only 7,000 words behind... aha. D:

I should be there around 3:30ish, also, maybe before if I get bored doing whatever it is I'm supposed to be doing now. I'll probably be the only person in there a) without a laptop (I'm handwriting this year) and b) without coffee (love the smell; can't stand the taste). I'd tell you to use the photo of me on my profile to identify me, but I went and chopped most of my hair off...

Hey guys! I'm at the Willow PJs right now, sitting outside with (as promised) a plate of chocolate chip cookies. If you are interested in these cookies you should stop by soon, because they're disappearing as I type. Mmm.

Hey guys, I was at PJs today but I didn't even think about the whole 'being a Loyola student with no access to Tulane wifi' thing... so I didn't get to check this thread to find out where you guys were. =( So close yet so far! Oh well, I wrote for about an hour anyway so I was technically with you guys in spirit!

Aw, bummer! Well, there were sixish of us there and it was pretty neat! We're thinking about making it a weekly tradition - bringing snacks and stuff to the PJs at Willow on Fridays at 3:30. It was cool meeting you guys!

Who is going to use the shuttle to come to the Borders write-in today?

Two of us are here all ready.

Simone:)

Sorry, I won't be able to make it. Got screwed over by last minute homework. Also, as it turns out the first mall shuttle doesn't leave til 2, when all the others start at 11. Because that makes sense. (No, it doesn't.)
