Anyone else go to the Putnam library? It's a pretty decent library, has a couple tables, computers and free wifi. I may have to check with the librarian but if there's only a few well behaved and quiet WriMos I think it'll be ok to have some write-ins there.

The only thing about library write-ins is that they usually do not allow writer fuel (coffee).

I know, I almost pointed out how there's a Dunkin Donuts in the next lot. Alas, no beverages or food in the library. So it'll be for fasting Wrimos.
I guess the library has a conference room so if there's more than a few who're willing to go without caffiene...

I lived in Putnam for 4 years, and am not still not that far.
I would be up for a visit with anyone that wants to get together there.

I might stop by during my Thanksgiving break. Other than that, I'll be stuck in New York for college.

Cool.
Anyways I'll probably be writing at the library a lot since it's close and I always seem to get more done at the library than anywhere else. So if anyone wants to join me they're welcome to.

I grew up in Putnam and after buying a car this past week, I decided I would visit more often. I might make some Wednesday trips up there and spend the day writing, as long as homework permits it, of course.

Hi, I am a newbie to NaNoWriMo, and I just joined this region, which will be my home region. I am up for meeting up and writing as long as my work schedule permits it. I can usually meet up on a Tuesday evening or a Thursday evening, some Wednesdays for a couple of hours. I have been living in Pomfret for the past 10 years, and I still don't know where the Putnam Library is. How bad is that? I live next to the library across from Pomfret School, so I know where that one is. I will ask our librarian where the library is on Monday.

Peace and love,
Paula R.

The Putnam library is in the Price Chopper Plaza, though on the other side of the plaza, between the new Crabtree & Evelyn store and a bank... I forget the name of the bank at the moment...

- Edit- Between Crabtree & Evelyn and Bank of America.

Mmmmm....Pomfret. Makes me think of Sharpe's Hill. I suppose it would be counter productive to have a write in at a winery. Pity.

I was thinking longingly of We-li-kit but sadly, I think it is closed for the season. Ice cream would go well with writing.

If anyone feels like joining me for a write-in I don't have any signs but a blue netbook and a 'cat person' mousepad.

I think this is a great idea! Also, there's an adorable cafe in Pomfret that seems receptive to being stormed by writers. Any takers?

The Vanilla Bean. It's right off of 244 and 44. Wi-Fi, cookies, and wine, what else can you ask for?

Cool, I haven;t been there for a while but Vanilla Bean is not too far from me. I can probably be there for a write in sometime.

So far I don't have anything going on tomorrow so I'll try to come. Look out for a blue laptop and a cat person mousepad.

Sorry I missed it. I really need to get on the ball here. Keep me in mind for the next one. I was down and out with the flu bug that ran through our school, but I am back now. I hope to catch up on some writing tomorrow. I am so far behind.

Peace and love,
Paula R.

I'm not as good on the word count as I would like to be, and I think my novella is more of a short story. Ah well .

I start a new job tomorrow so I don't know how many write ins I will be able to go to on weekdays, except for maybe hitting the library after work. I'll try to get to the Vanilla Bean again if anyone wants to meet up there though.

Heh, I got a NaNoWriMo hoodie and some stickers so I'll be easier to notice.

I was thinking of hitting the Putnam Library Saturday (I believe it's open) and desperately trying to catch up on my word count. I've fallen woefully behind after starting a new job.
Or I might try Victoria's Station- a nice cafe and I think it has wifi. If anyone cares to join me they're welcome. Look for a blue laptop.
