Yay! 2 of us - that technically constitutes a meeting. I'm good for a write-in at some point - the earliest I could manage is Monday 2nd, daytime or evening. Generally I'm free weekend and Monday daytimes, or evenings. Where's a good place to go?

Okay, Sunday - morning or afternoon?
I was going to suggest 2pm at Costa Coffee, but someone else might have a better suggestion. If I don't hear otherwise, that's where I'll be. Have to go now and demand sweets from our neighbours before unleashing my two terrors on them. Doncha just love Halloween?

My third attempt at posting this, due to a combination of muppetry and general site busyness... It's getting shorter each time I type it!

Enjoyed chatting and sipping coffee as I typed this afternoon - anyone else want to meet up for another write-in? I can't make next Sunday, but maybe we could try for mid-week - say Wednesday evening? I don't know the area well enough to suggest a venue, I don't know where would be open and whether they would be friendly to a group of crazy writing people. Any ideas?

I might be popping into town tomorrow, so I can ask at the info centre or round about for a venue. Costa might be our best option though; it stays open late and tends not to be too busy. Unless anyone else has some ideas.

I'm kind of busy this week, but I could do daytime Saturday or Sunday next weekend, or next Monday, I think.

Happy to come anywhere in Stroud... I don't suppose any of the cafes have got wireless?! :)

I'm free this weekend coming too.

Star Anise down the bottom of town has free wireless at certain hours, I believe. Costa's is sat on a BTFon hotspot, so you can connect if you pay.

Is anyone else up for Weds eve? (tomorrow night)
Otherwise I'll stay at home too, where the caffeine is free.

I might be able to do Saturday or Monday, if that's where it's heading.

Sorry I've been quiet the last couple of days - I was ill (why does this always happen in November?!) and only got out of bed this morning.

Anyway, in the interests of getting things moving... I volunteer to be in Star Anise at 10.30 tomorrow morning (Saturday), until at least 11am, longer if anyone else turns up. I'll be wearing pink or purple (this is usually true!), with my husband, and typing away on about the smallest laptop you've ever seen.

I'll send this to Kai in the hope that it's in time for the email, too!

Oh well - another time :)

There were three wrimos this morning (me, Kroomi & Saffy), two husbands, and one child.

We did lots of talking, not so much writing (oops) -- and I just realised I completely forgot to ask who wanted to be co-ML for Stroud (sorry Kai!!!), so would anyone like to volunteer?

Sunday sounds good. I found Star Anise a bit too crowded to get on with much actual writing last weekend, which is a pity because it's nicer. But yeah, Sunday. Anyone else?

Is this too late to reply?

If not, you can count me in on weekends (I don't live there, but I go to school there ^_^)

Thanks anyway.
