Lissa (lysistrata) will be setting up a meebo chat room and publish the instructions for how to join as a guest so that you can easily challenge other Topeka writers to word wars during our online write ins.
Of course, if Topeka folks would like to advertise where they will be writing (public places like library, coffeeshop, etc.) you can organize some additional in-person write-ins as well.

This is a meebo chat room, you don't have to use a special login, just click to chat. It will ask for your age and gender. After you type your first comment, it will ask you to choose a nickname. If you can use your nano username or your real first name, it will make it easier for your writing friends to recognize you!
Mainly this will be used during our online write ins for real-time virtual word wars, although in the early days of November if you are having trouble accessing the Nano site, you might try the chat room to connect for encouragement and inspiration with other local writers there instead.
