Are there any Muncie-dwellers interested in meet-ups or write-ins? I am new to NaNoWriMo this year and would like to meet other participants.

If no one shows up in Muncie, you are always welcome to join us in Anderson :)

I hope someone else in Muncie is interested, but I may take you up on your offer--thanks!

I work in Muncie and live in Anderson... so chances are good I might drop in on both of you!

You're welcome to join the Marion/Grant County group. I'm setting at least a third of our events at businesses off of I-69 to make it easier for people from adjoining regions to join us.

We'll have our kickoff and some write-ins at Payne's and the Gas City Starbucks, which are at Exit 59 off of I-69. See Marion post for details.

idcchan and AlexJonathan, is there a particular weeknight that works for you if we tried to get together? Tuesdays would be best for me. I'm going to be out of town for the first two weekends of the month so i can't do it then. Maybe we could do a meet-up/write-in at Panera?

I'm in Muncie, located near the BSU campus, but can go anywhere in the general area. Just let me know if you guys want a meet up

I definitely can meet people at Panera. My schedule is a little sporadic. But I typically work Tuesday during the day and could meet during the evening. I work this Tuesday during the morning. So anytime after about 2pm would work out well for me.

I'll probably work early Wednesday morning too, but I just remembered that sleep is completely optional during the month of November. :P

So anyway, if this Tuesday works out for people how does 5pm at Panera sound? Or do other people need to meet later? I can do 6 or 7 too.

No one is really responding so much about meeting tomorrow. I'll be at Panera around 5 just in case anyone wants to come. If there is another day or time that works for people, or a better location, we can try that. Best of luck to everyone. Here's to hoping we can get something figured out.

I guess I should say that my name is Jenn, and I happen to work at Panera. So that kind of makes it an ideal location for me. :)

I may be making my way to Muncie (capable of driving to Anderson) for my college's Thanksgiving Break so if anyone wants to have a write-in around then keep me posted. At that point I'd probably be looking for someone to read my novel, so perhaps we could trade and offer suggestions if one or the other has writer's block. Just an idea. Anyway, if anyone has any date's around then free please post them.

Am at Panera in Muncie tonight if anyone wants to meet up. Never got any affirmative responses, so not necessarily expecting anyone. If anyone drops by you an ask anyone working there to point out Jenn, or look for the girl in the purple sweater. :) Don't know how long I'll stay.

Is there still interest in a meet up or write in in the future? Are there days and times that would work out for people?
And best of luck to everyone!

Don't know about Thanksgiving yet, have to give that some thought.

Also here in Muncie. I'm surprised there's not more planned here. It's cool to see there're other people here writing though

I can meet early Saturday morning. Like 10 am or something. Saturday afternoon is not awesome, since I work at 2pm. If we meet at Panera I can do 10 to 2 though for writing in purposes. Though I will say Panera would not really be a quiet spot after about 11:30. So there may be somewhere else people wanna meet. I know MT cup is a better place for people on campus.

And I agree it is nice to know there are others in Muncie trying this! :) Go team Muncie! *Cheers us on*

Any decisions on when people can do write ins? Saturday is not the most awesome for me, but if it works out for others go for it.

How does anyone feel about Sunday? I am off all day. So I can do anytime. Any local place too. Any feedback? Bracken might be a good place to meet. Or Panera. Or the MT Cup. Or IHOP if anyone wants to do a late Saturday night kind of thing. :) What's the story out there, Muncie-Land?
