So because I do a lot of Forum RPs, I've gotten very used to having PBs (Play Bys) for all of my characters. It's kind of like... if someone was turning your story into a movie, who would be cast as who?

Do any of you use PBs? If you are, who are you using this year?

I tend to make graphics with mine, because it gets me in a rather motivated mood for that character.

What about you?

Oooh, I've done this but it's been a while, that's for sure. The trouble for me is that if I try to find an existing actor for a character, they'll only maybe resemble them a little since I'm pretty visual and have just enough of an idea of what they look like to get frustrated in looking for a match, heehee (also my limited knowledge of actors does not help this in the least). Then it takes me about four bazillion tries if I attempt drawing them to get some semblance of their appearance down, but at least the process helps to solidify their look in my brains. At least I've found theme songs for a couple of them.

I find I do something like that for some of my secondary characters. My main characters tend to show up fully formed (like Athena). Using an actor (or other celeb) as a face can help me hang a personality on some characters.
