I had a great time at the kickoff tonight, and everyone helped to reduce my anxiety about my impending nattering November.

Buena Suerte, everyone!

A huge thanks! I just wanted to let you all know that one of my cheerleaders has become a convert! My significant other is going to attempt NaNo for his first year.

It's going to be fun to have someone in the house write with me and it's all thanks to you. If it weren't for the great kick off don't think he'd be joining.

I'll second (or third that)!! In fact, my daughter (Jylian or 1JB) is already using her notebook/door prize to write notes for her chapters!! I told her that she could cheat a little and start writing her story now (3000 words is pretty massive for a 9 year old) but she told me in no uncertain terms that she will not be cheating and will start writing the story on the 1st!!

Huzzah for the best MLs evar.
We had a blast at the kickoff. It was great to meet everyone and put a face to the screen names. I can't wait to start going to write-ins and seeing just how far I can get on this novel this year.

Navycop, I hope your daughter reaches her 3000 word goal next month. It's awesome to know we've got a Young Writer in our midst. Go Jylian!

Here's to a fantastic November.

Believe me, a good chunk of the credit is down to you guys. We could do all the planning in the world, but if we didn't have an awesome group of Wrimos, it wouldn't make a difference. I love putting things together for you because I know that you'll get excited about it and be involved. Vancouver rocks!!

Here's a hearty, enthusiastic agreement with all that's been said so far. Tonight was great, and now I am even more excited for November to arrive.

Thanks Nancy and Lynds!!!

Awe shucks you guys! You know we do it for you!

We were very excited at the turn out, participation, and generally how this year's party unfolded. It was nice to have a few extra helping hands to keep things organized as well.

You all rock!

Nancyness, Lynds,

You can tell us all you want how much we rock (no, you rock!) and how you couldn't do this without us, but the fact of the matter is that we would be quite adrift without competent, wonderful MLs like yourselves.

I propose three cheers. Hip hip!

Hooray!

Especially because I just saved a copy of my outline on my shiny new flash drive. :)

I'll do a cheer for the shiny new flash-drive. The door prize awesomeness was largely due to Annette. :)

We sure were glad when you came in thinking you were just the cheerleader for your mom. That just meant we had to sell NaNo THAT much better! Not that it needs selling.

Yeah - I try to cheerlead her own - but mostly she is just taunting me and telling me if she can do it - I can too.

Sigh...MOTHERS.

I see that today is Municipal Liaison Appreciation Day here at NaNoWriMo, so I thought I'd bump this up top and say a big "Thanks so much!" to Nancy (Chocolatequeen) and Lyndsey (Lollybob818) for everything they do.

*stands and applauds*

Oops, it's not November 8th anymore, is it? Oh well. Thanks to our awesome MLs anyway. You both rock!
