I said I'd let you know how much we made on raffle tickets tonight, so here I am. I'll update this every time we have an event so there's a running total going.

October 26: $49!!

We're already almost halfway to the $100 mark, which is how much we need to donate to receive the poster. I'll be selling tickets at all the events between now and November 18--that's 6 more chances to purchase a ticket.

I believe it was sent out in our last regional email (or two ago not the one from today).

Because not everyone has the ability to donate 5 or 10 dollars to NaNo, we're offering an alternative. Right now our goal is to reach $100 donated as a region (at one time) in order to get some nifty treats from the Office of Letters and Light (NaNo Headquarters). Everyone who participates will have a chance of winning any of the available flare. If you go to the link at the top of your page here labled Donation/Store. The items listed under $100 dollar donation are all items that will be raffled off.

I think there's a really nifty NaNo poster, some stickers, and a car decal?

It's part of your ML's job each year to raise money for the organization, so this is just our twist on it.

I hope that answers your question.

Just an update: Thanks to the write-ins last night and tonight, we are now up to $66 in raffle sales! We're only $34 short of $100 and the awesome poster, so thanks so much to everyone who has bought a ticket. If you haven't yet and you would like to, they will be available at the write-in next Sunday and at the Midterm Game night on the 18th.

We sold 13 tickets today, which brings us up to $79--just $21 shy of the $100 goal. The Midterm Game Night will be the last chance to buy tickets before I send in our donation on Thursday evening. If you haven't bought a ticket yet and would like to, bring your cash along with your goodies and games.

It is. I don't know if anyone is following the Donation Derby, but this pushed us from #8 to #5 in our league, with 3 and 4 neck and neck.
