I'm in Conifer and this is my first NaNoWriMo.
Now that Winter is trying to hit us hard (I'm still waiting for Summer of '09 to show its face), I was wondering if there were any NaNos who don't want to brave the trip down the mountain to join in the NaNo meetups in Denver or, heaven forbid, Saudi Aurora! (How DO you write without any mountains and trees outside your window?)
I figured we might be able to meet at the Conifer Safeway - they have a few comfy chairs, lots of outlets, free wi-fi and a fireplace - they close at midnight these days, but we could still hang around until then. Alternatives during the daylight hours include the Evergreen Library.

I'm off of Highway 73 between Conifer and Evergreen. I just posted a message in the Denver region looking for people up here as well. Let me know if you're interested in a write-in somewhere or just a chat about how things are going. I have two little kiddos, so my time away is pretty limited, but I can always make something work.
This is my first NaNoWriMo, too.

I am off Shadow Mtn Drive - not far from 73. I am out of town at the moment - had to go home for a death in the family - but I am writing while I am here - and my sister, who got me into this mess, is here with me and writing by hand. But she has a lot more words down then I do. Of course, this is her 6th NaNo or something. But I will catch up eventually. Anyway, I am sure my novel makes more sense than hers does. . . 8-)
I will be home and available to get together nest Monday, I expect. Maybe we can get together then.
