Hey all.

I know we already have our Sunday write-ins locked in for November, but I was thinking of holding additional write-ins on an evening during the week.

Does anyone have a specific night of the week that works for them? I was thinking maybe Thursday or Friday at like, 6 or 7 to 9 or 10. It would be open, too, so if you couldn't get there until later or had to leave early, that'd be fine. I also thought we might try a different venue, so we aren't taxing Mirth two days a week. I was thinking maybe Borders or Java Break, but I am open to other suggestions!

You all are welcome to set up your own additional write-ins as well, just post here in the forums to let people know time and place.

If nobody has a preference, I will go ahead and put what works best for me on the calendar and everyone will be welcome to join me.

Thanks guys!

I would love to do it on a Thursday night. I have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. Also the more days I have write-ins the more likely I am to keep on schedule. I'm already missing the kick-off Saturday night, but I hope to be back in town before the 2 pm write-in on Sunday.

Thursday nights are going to be best for me - actually, Fridays are impossible since I work every Friday! Wednesday and Thursdays are best with my schedule. I think the 7-9 would probably be best.

La Prima Tazza is always a good place to go, but it doesn't really have seating for a big group of people. Neither does House of Cha, sadly, which is one of my favorite places to go! I've never been to Java Break - the midnight write-in will be a first for me - so I can't give an opinion on it either way. Still, like I said, I'm rather fond of La Prima Tazza so if it was just a small group of us going I'm sure that'd be a fine place to meet!

Thursday nights and weekends are best for me.

As for places to go, I'm still a freshman, so I don't know many places. But I do like smoking hookah. So, if we have anymore hookah smokers, look me up. xD

Looks like Thursdays are a good night for everyone... but me. I have Amnesty International that night. Mondays are the best for me.

OK, for this week, we are going to meet up on Thursday (the 5th) at Border's at 7:30ish until 10 (they close down at 10 so they'll probably kick us out, but I think I'd head home by then anyway).

I think next week we might try Tuesday, and maybe at a different venue depending on how things go at Borders. Maybe the week after we'll try Monday! It'll be the traveling weekday evenings write-in. I want to try to accommodate as many of you as I can, so we'll keep trying until we find something that works, or at least try every single day so everyone can make it to at least one!

It also sounds like a group of you are going to set up some times at a campus venue. Just post here and let me know when/where, and I'll add it to the calendar.

Happy writing until then!

Hello, everybody! I'm getting a group of NaNo'ers together for a write-in this Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 7 in the Studio on campus, next to Hashinger Hall. Anybody that wants to join us is welcome!

Ok, I went ahead and put your write-in on the calendar, AngelCaida!

Also, I am moving the Thursday night write-in from a 7:30pm start to a 7pm start. I moved some things around that afternoon so I will be able to meet earlier. Feel free to come at any time, though.

Hey everyone!

So last night's write-in had a pretty good turnout, and we decided we kind of like having it on Thursday nights. We had talked about doing next week's meeting on Thursday again at Teapouro. Well, it turns out they have a knitting group that meets 7-9 on Thursday the 12th.

So we have a couple of options. I can call and ask and see if they think they'd have room to accommodate both us and the knitting group, we can pick a different location for that particular Thursday, or we can pick a different evening and still meet at Teapouro.

Let me know what you think!

Hey, I'm going to have another write-in tomorrow (on Tuesday), but this time I'm not going to be silly, and have it at 7:30, because that's when The Studio actually opens. So I guess it'll be from 7:30-9:30. Everyone is welcome. ^-^

Maow, Lady, I'll actually check the forums now for these things, and talk with you about when we're meeting up. I'll totally join you at the Studio next week after 8!

Is the write-in tonight at Teaporo or Borders?

...I suppose I might wander into Borders, see if anyone is there and find another place to go if I don't find anyone...

Just in case anyone wanted to know, I know _I_ will at least be at Borders at 7 PM on Thursday! It's become one of my best places to write! I know Haley and Sara will be there as well - hooray for the Thursday wrimo crew!

Yup, I will be there!! It will probably be closer to 7:30 again for me so I have time to freshen up after my exercise class.

I love our Thursday night Border's group!!

Ok, next week is Thanksgiving.

Eek, did I really just say that? Where has this month gone?

Anyways. Our weeknight write-ins have been falling on Thursday, but since Thursday is Thanksgiving, I am guessing nobody would make it if I held it that night, not to mention we'd be hard pressed to find someplace that was open (although I do have keys to the Religious Studies library in Smith Hall on campus, so if you all really WANTED to do a write-in on Thursday, we could sneak in and set up shop there. It had lots of tables and places to plug in and stuff).

Realistically, however, we should probably schedule our weeknight write-in on a different day next week.

Does anyone have a preference? We could do Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday next week.

Tuesday will probably work out best for me, though I may be able to swing Wednesday night. Working Friday, unfortunately.

ALSO! I will probably be a bit late tomorrow night *gasp!* The wife managed to convince me to take her on a date. In NOVEMBER. UNHEARD OF. But I will probably be there by 7:30!

Tuesday would work best for me, too.

I'll also possibly be late tomorrow night. I have a test that starts at 5:45 and hypothetically could last until 7:45, depending on the number of essay questions and my ability to rock it.

See you guys then!

Ok!

We have decided to move the Thursday write-in next week to Tuesday in favor of Thanksgiving.

Still at Borders, still at 7pm.

Hope to see you there!

Thanks for the write-in earlier tonight. I often regret that I can't make the Sunday meetings. Chatting with other folks who are participating is really valuable, and I enjoyed coming to Borders tonight.

It was so great to see you! I'm glad you were able to make it. Sounds like you are making great progress on your story, keep up the outstanding work.

if you can't make any more write-ins, I hope you can at least make our TGIO party at the end!

If anyone is interested, my wife and I are going to be hanging out at House of Cha starting at about 7 tonight if anyone cares to join me! (Sara, I'll be sending you a text about this just in case you don't see it!)

House of Cha is a quaint bubble tea shop on 9th and Vermont, next to Wheatfields. VERY cute! And a good writing atmosphere! So feel free to stop by and join me or to say hi, as long as you don't mock my very crooked face D:

I'm definitely coming! I need to write somewhere other than my apartment tonight, as it has been very distracting all day.
