Yeah! So I see all these people from Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai and all meeting up and you know basically brain storming and thrashing out the sustainability of a plot or whatever it is that they do and I am left wondering why O why isn't anybody here in Bangalore doing the exact same thing?
So, if you are in Bangalore and are doing the whole Nov nanowrimo madness then hit me up. Would be certainly nice to talk to about plots and books and you know basically get a grip and perspective on how things are going to go.

Ah finally! I was beginning to feel I was a lone ranger... btw being a n00bie (at least 2 bad jokes running in me head and they rhyme with boobies...anyway) what's ML?
And I am game for a meet up... would be fun to brain storm with like minded people... :)

What am I, Regional Head Dork?! Well, ok, no but am I the only Bangalorean on this forum who's NaNo'd before? OI if any old-hands are skulking around, come show you're virtual mugs already!
zenmaster, an ML is a Municipal Liaison, basically someone who's all OCD stricken and has an organizational fetish. They also perform a side-job as a sort of helper outer to n00bs, dispensing their hard-earned wisdom when offered sufficient amounts of caffeine. Or at least that's my impression of them. Here's a more reliable lowdown on MLs http://www.nanowrimo.org/node/1003232 (:
SoOoOo wot are your preparations like, n00bs?!

Right! Don suppose we are going to get a ML anytime soon (btw is it just me or does ML look and sound like a really, really bad word :P)
And it definitely looks like you are the oldest hands around here.
Abt preparations, well I have my plot or something resembling like one. Other than that am not really sure what sort of preparations go on for things like these.
Though would be interesting if shots of caffeine were knocked back and discussions flowed. Not quite like the 80's reporters kinds with jholas huddled around... but something like it would be fun...
Anyway... the action starts tonight...

No, I'm a repeat NaNo'er, but new to Bangalore. We should totally do a weekend meetup sometime this month at a cozy coffee shop - please? I did NaNo last year all on my own, with only internet friends to help me go on, so it'd be nice to meet some real live NaNo-ers.

My book is called "Adventure Novel" at the moment. It's about a young East African man who goes in search of a teenage girl who has run away from their hometown in search of work in Saudi Arabia. On the way he encounters the plague, Naxals (!) and other obstacles that I haven't thought of yet.
I'm up for Koramangala/Indiranagar meeting!

So, is this koramangala /indiranagar meeting on? I'd love to meet us and get some inspiration. I don't know if you believe in the Writer's Block, but I have it now. No, really.
Oh, I'm a newbie too--happened to run into the site and decided to sign up. Although super bad luck, November of all months is the busiest of 'em all this year (workwise) for me :(
Busiest month AND the Block...May the writing Gods help!

It's definitely on, as soon as somebody here takes the initiative to decide on a place, date and time. Would love it if we could decide on a place like 'The Beach' where I can smoke (yes, I am aware smoking is injurious to health, blah blah blah...)
Let me know if you guys decide on the date, time and place (preferably smoking, please, please, pretty please...)
ps: Did I just sound like a little girl in pig tails while pleading? o.0

Do we need someone to do numbers etc? let's just bring our drafts/ideas or whatever and meet for coffee at 5pm on saturday, the 7th. At Daddy's Delhi, 12th main, Indiranagar. More info: um, it's wayyyy past the sony showroom almost near the end of the road on the left. (before that snap or whatever fancy gym that is). as of now, there's 'zenmaster' and me. Other people, as and when you're up for it, confirm on this thread and we'll take a count on sat morn/afternoon and it's set! works?
