National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)

NaNoWriMo is upon us http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/whatisnano. The Rowan Writing Center is sponsoring four evening write-ins, November 1, 6, 20, and 30 to help you get it done. The write-ins are an opportunity to work with other writers who are also writing novels in November. Need more information? Visit http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/whatisnano then contact the Writing Center at writingcenter@rowan.edu .

Our first gathering is Sunday, November 1st at 6:00 p.m. at the Writing Center, 4th floor of Campbell Library. Bring your lap tops, notebooks, or outlines and let's get started!

Contact:
Deb Martin, PhD
Writing Center Director
martind@rowan.edu
Extension: 4376 (from off-campus, 856-256-4376)

Non-students are very welcome! Attendees should tell the person at the kiosk that they are there for the NaNoWriMo write-in. Parking is available across the street. The library is located next to the Student Center on Rt. 322. It's clearly marked. There are many available outlets. Food and drink are permitted.

This write-in is hosted by the Rowan Writing Center!

I'd like to go to at least some of these. Wondering who else is planning to... I'd feel a bit out of place being the only non-undergrad there.

Who's going?

Well, I'm definitely going to the one on the 1st! The others I would have a little trouble getting to - although I might show up late on the 30th. Don't let the possibility of feeling out of place deter you - it will still be fun, even if you ARE the only non-undergrad there!
