If you're really interested in getting your own local region, try to stir things up in your area this year by hosting some write ins at local hangouts or libraries. Send me the info so I can put the events on the calendar. Next year, haunt the Nano site in September when they take applications for new MLs. I wanted to get a region for Northern Kentucky this year, but the Kentucky::Elsewhere ML last year decided not to do it this year, so I agreed to take on the whole state. Even if Nano doesn't want to make a separate region just yet, I'd love to have some co-MLs who can be at write-ins in person in places I have never even heard of.

I pass on this advice from the Cincinnati Region ML myopic, who talked with me about my interest over the last couple of years.

Keep in touch, and good luck with your novel!

I am in Eminence. Or at least that is where my home is. I am currently in Africa and will be back in mid November. If you want to do any local type write ins let me know as I said I will be available around the middle of the month.

Oh wow, homesick much? Over the summer I got to visit Denmark- such a beautiful country. Anyways, Eminence isn't too far from where I'm at in Shelbyville. I'll keep you udated if I decide to get anything together. ;)
