How many crazy NaNoers do we have in GP this year? We didn't do any write-ins here last year, I don't think, but some might be nice this year. Many people seem to be more in the Medford/Ashland area.

And how many do we have from GPHS? (I know there are a few of us, but I've been trying to recruit more. Hurray for free flyers!) I was thinking something at the school could be fun, if we could get it organized and there are enough people interested.

I live in Grants Pass, and attend North Valley High School. As far as I know, there are only two NVHS students doing NaNo this year (at one point I had convinced three other friends, but they wimped out in a day), so it'd be awesome if someone could plan a Write-In somewhere in the Rogue Valley. Anyway, greetings fellow Grants Pass residents. :)

I'm here too.

i'm not a high school student (30 y-o), but I organized a write-in at Bluestone two years ago which was the last time I participated.

I'd be happy to put another write-in together. Bluestone's great, a nice public place, but somewhat short on pug-ins for laptops.

We can talk about it though and try to figure something out.

Happy Nano-ing everyone

Writing His Words here, geared up and excited about this year's NaNoWriMo. I would love to join a write-in better known as midnight madness and really increase my word count. I have participated the last three years, yet I am not sure where my last year's activity went though, LOL. Nonetheless, I want to finish this year with flying colors. I have alot on my plate but really feel led to complete my novel.

I can probably get the old RCC building that my church owns now, to have the write in at. I know, bad grammar, it is early in the am, what can I say? grin I will check out the amount of plug in's and see if it is worth it. What is nice about this room located in the middle of GP, is there is a kitchen attached where we can fuel up on coffee, cappacino, hot chocolate, etc. :) We could all bring snacks to share and see what we could accomplish that night and into the early morning. We could also have it from like after dinner until midnight if that schedule was better for others. How 'bout some ideas for those of us who want to hash out some words and see that word count fly sky high! :-) Come on everyone in GP! Who is up for the challenge?

Hey!

I really like the idea of a write-in for GP! I'm busy with classes at RCC but I'm sure that I might be able to spare a Saturday. Would the 14th work? I'm sure that we could find a building to use and if all else fails we would be able to meet up at the Dutch Bros. Coffee House (after all, they have free WiFi just in case we need it). Otherwise, if writingHiswords can get her church to let us use the building they own, that sounds like a lot of fun!

It's already a week into NaNoWriMo so let us GO GO GO!!!

I'm really pumped up and excited for this! XP

I wouldn't mind a write-in as long as you wouldn't mind a youngin of GPHS hehe. :P I think it's a great idea. How's it looking? :o
