today i'm putzing around the house, waiting to go to a radiologist appointment, so i thought i'd hop on chat until that happens. it seems that the chat karlianne set up is out of service for the moment, so i've created a room on meebo.
to chat, go to meebo.com. sign up for an account. you can use practically any chat program, such as aim, yahoo, google chat, irc, jabber, myspace, facebook, and a ton of others i've never heard of. there is nothing to download, i promise! once you're logged in, go to the top of your friends list window and click on the righthand icon, start or join a group chat. type in "phoenowrimo", and there you are!
i'll be on until 11 this morning, so come keep me company!

I signed on to meebo at about 10:40ish and nobody was there.
The mibbit chat is working fine for me. Sometimes it hangs while trying to connect to the server, if this happens just hit reload and nine times out of ten it will work the second time. Or if you don't like the web interface you can use any IRC client... just connect to irc.mibbit.net, and join channel #phoenixnano.
