I am wondering if anyone is interested in having me take photos with your writing handle, date and goal (i.e. 20,000 words ect.) in front of landmarks/vehicles or the like on my post in Iraq. As long as I avoid certain areas I can take photo's of quite a few unique places or vehicles under the Army rules. I thought that setting up a reward for achieving goals (even something as silly as a digital photo of your name/goal in a picture from Iraq) might help some of us stick with it. If you have other ideas for similar rewards from past years or you want me to do something like this for you let me know.

Manonthehill, I will see about doing a kick off video of the City of Ur outside the base on day one(I am scheduled to go on a tour, they are rare and hard to get on) and will see about posting the picture or video link here if I get one with the region's name and anyone who lets me know they want their writing handle in the shot.

Oh sure ol' NaNo "Buddie" of mine... doesn't even NaNoMail me with this one??? Heck ya! My goal is 50,000 and I will get there come hell or high water!! ;) I can do the same for you by Letchworth State Park - know as the Grand Canyon of the East... is that a fair trade?? Not real exciting, but its a awesomely beautiful place if you've never been.

Great! I would love a photo if I make 20,000 words and I will start planning a photo with your goal somewhere distinctly Iraq already so when you get there I can email it to you. Just imagine the people scratching their heads a year or two down the road when you show them your screen name and goal in Iraq and may the gremlins of writers block never visit your keyboard.
