The title says it all!

The Critique group that meets at the Borders bookstore in Colleyville on Tuesday nights is converting over to write-ins for the month of November.

http://www.borders.com/online/store/InteractiveMapView_12153

We meet at 7pm-ish in the coffee shop at the back end of the store, and usually stay until they kick us out at 10pm.

If anyone is interested in joining the critique group post-NaNo, Nano mail me with your email address and I'll tell you how to get started with the group.

I'm going to try to make it to this - but I also have some domestic things I need to see to: grocery shopping, cleaning my Chinchilla cages and reminding them I really *DO* love them, and some other housey things as well as getting my dad his birthday present @_@ I hope to have this all accomplished 6ish so I can take a deep breath and then scurry over there.

Great! hope to see you there, Cid. I normally get there about 6:45 for the group meetings, so I can snag a table (always an unknown variable), but this month I'm going to try and be there earlier then that, 6:20-6:30ish in case anyone new decides to show up.

Yeah - should I get done early I will head over there too - it's so much easier to settle in one place and sit for the duration than having to pick up and move. :) I'm still a maybe, just depends on what I get done! Also - anyone in the Irving area around 183 & Beltline wanting to carpool or whatnot lemme know - I know I've heard a few people say they have car-constraints.

I'm off work at six, and so I can be there around 6:45, 6:30 if the traffic's good.

As for domesticity, my horrifically dirty kitchen will keep until the weekend.

But I have to go to Oklahoma this weekend for wedding party duties!!! I need to write as much as possible because writing Friday and Saturday is a huuuuuugggeee IF and I'll spend Sunday making up the deficit. Oh well, I finished making my dress in October except for the hem so I kick booty!

What deficit Cid? By the handy-dandy daily word count calender, you're already past the word total for DAY 8. You could not write a word between now and Midnight Monday morning and still be ahead of the curve. LOL

Um - I'd be behind on my calendar :P My calendar is different. I don't think my goal is reaching 50K anymore, I think it's finishing this dang book!

This sounds like a plan! I didn't even realize there was a Borders anywhere near here. I take it it's just past TCC NE?

Its a ways past TCC NE. It's near the corner where 26 and Hall Johnson Rd meet, closer to the Grapevine end than TCC.

It's in the same parking lot as Market Street and Gloria's Restaurant (those are the landmarks other people always use... don't know if it helps).

Here's the street address: 5615 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034

I remembered I have a church meeting tonight, but I'll head over to Borders as soon as that's done.

:) Criss.

That's still doable. I love Borders. I far prefer it to Barnes & Noble, though I have no idea why. I will try to get there a little early, but I'm not sure I can stay until 10. We'll see what happens.

Hope everyone's NaNovels are coming along nicely (read: better than mine).

Cheers!

I had no idea there was a writing group at this Borders!
My Tuesday nights are pretty much free and I'd love to get extra kick in the pants that write-ins seem to provide.

Well, I intended to make it, and was all set to walk out the door, but my wife wasn't feeling good and needed me to help with the kiddos tonight. I'll try and catch you there next week!

A bump to remind every about tomorrow night.

If you stop in, say hi. I'll be the one with the brown folder and the yellow pads handwriting for the write-in.

Okay, I'm doing it! I'm gonna nap for 2 hours, and I'll see you there at 7! :)

*crosses fingers that he can finally break the cycle of weird coincidences stopping him from going to write-ins* :)

I'll be there - around 6 I think, if anyone is interested.

Depending on what we're doing, I might make it. I could use the WC boost. I hope to be there.

(Need to see if I can find something anyway... Yeah... That's the excuse I'll use ;)

See you at the finish line!
