Hey everyone, this is my 3rd time doing Nano. I'm starting on an Aleve regimen however today...before I get started with anything of course. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't have computer problems, or hand problems during this time as I've had in the prior two years running. I can't make it out to Henrietta at night...I have two young children who need to be tucked in and sometimes my husband is working nights. So I won't be able to participate in person. :( But! I can be online. :) I'm out in Walworth which I know is near to Webster, Fairport, Penfield, and such.

Hello! Webster isn't too far from Walworth, though I always get lost every time I drive my dog out to Orchard Kennels, so a ten minute trip takes more like half an hour..... *cough* I always miss that turn...

I have arthritis and carpal tunnel, so I know what a pain it is to try and type during this season. I suggest filling a large bowl with warm water to soak your hands and wrists in it when they start to hurt/stiffen up for about five minutes. If you don't have an ergonomic keyboard, I strongly suggest getting one, also! It feels really weird to use at first, but it makes such a huge difference once you get used to it. If you're typing on a surface that's higher than your elbows, that also impacts writing ability, so try to type with your keyboard lower than your elbows. If you're in the bath, you can also gently wring a wet face towel to stretch and exercise your hands a little, it feels nice, and it keeps your hands feeling looser.
