Hey! So I've been seeing all of these really cool things for get togethers and write ins for Tucson! Woo!
However, I live on campus, and I'm slightly limited on how far I travel considering how I have no vehicle. Would anyone else be up to meeting on campus? :D

Write-ins at the University are always fun, though your options are a bit limited depending on what's open and how many people that space can accommodate comfortably. Let's not even talk about trying to park anywhere on campus if you're not a student! Some really great writing places within walking distance are Bentley's on Speedway and Campbell, Espresso Art (Is it still called that?) on University Blvd by the American Apparel. The Starbucks down there is pretty comfy. Now if you want to be really daring, you can take the 15 Bus (which picks up on the UA Mall by the Optics Building) North to Campbell and Grant to either Coffee X Change or Avenue Coffee. (Make sure the bus reads Tohono Center otherwise you'll wind up near the airport!) Black Rose Caffe isn't too far up if you're willing to take the 4 west to stone and 19 north on Stone. And if worse comes to worse, anyone would be more than willing to give you a lift to and from campus. :D

But that doesn't mean that you can't arrange write-ins on campus either!

I understand that need for closer write-ins. This is my second year and I won't be able to go to any because I have limited resources.

What's the bus fare now anyway?

I think it's like $1.25. $3 for a day pass!

Paradise Cafe can be a decent (but excellent in regards to cookies!) place to type away an afternoon! They just get busy right around lunch time, but other than that they are pretty chill and do not seem to mind people hanging out there.

LadyEm I am on campus sometimes for my graduate work. Feel free to message me if you want to do some writing there!

Message me too if you organize something! Me and my best friend are freshmen on campus this year, and we'd love to get together for a write-in. (That was by far my favorite part of Nano last year!)
