Hi Chico NaNos,
Every time I sign on here the number of people signed up for the Chico region is one or two greater. I love to see that so many are taking the challenge. I hope we get to meet in person at one of the events we've planned! Are you at the panic place yet? Or are you all (unlike me) planned and ready to start writing? Deep breath...I keep telling myself that! It's almost time to begin!
Take care,
Lynn

Hi, first time NaNo-er here. Excited to get started! I don't know if my schedule will allow for the get-togethers but I hope so.

Cool, looking forward to seeing what others in the area will be working on for NaNo. I'll be working on a sequel to a YA fantasy novel I have out with test readers right now. Still working on plotting details so I can write with some velocity during November. Good luck to everyone, and I hope to see a few of you at an event or two--perhaps even tomorrow although not sure my schedule for work for 11 on Saturday as I have some other things going on at the same time.

For the first time since starting with NaNoWriMo I am facing a November 1st with *absolutely* no idea what I am going to write about. I am terrified. And excited!

I'm with you Kylene! IT is indeed terrifying. All evening i've been thinking, "You might want to at least think about this a little!" So far I haven't done it, but maybe tomorrow...

I couldn't believe it. I just finished my novel outline today. Thirty-two chapters. I've been working on that thing for months.

*laughing* The scary thing is I *have* been thinking about it, since I made that post yesterday ... and I've still got nothing. It is so unlike me. I'm stymied.

Hello Yuba City person! Did you know that on the California: Elsewhere region, there is a Yuba city group? Just wanted to let you know in case you felt odd amongst us Chiconians. Welcome, though! Glad you've begun NaNoWriMo.

Hey there Jammin' - Welcome to the Chico region. Feel free to come to any of our write-ins if you feel like taking a drive. I htink learning about it late is actually good - you haven't had time to hear much from your inner censors! (You can sign up for more than one region and just declare one of them your home region.)
Take care and keep us posted as to your progress.
