Anyone else out there feeling that it could be a year for winging it as you go along?

Last year, I came up with my story at about 11.55pm on 31st October, and came up with the ending sometime in the 3rd week of November. I have a funny feeling this year could be the same.

Anyone else feeling the pressure mounting?

I suppose I have a theme

But yes certianly about to jump out of the tree and see if the flapping works

Plotting planning and back story writing this year. But I have thoroughly enjoyed previous years when I just sat down at midnight and went for it.

So I wish you luck in flying into the window and bouncing off with realms and wonders yet unseen in these parts.

I've never done this before - and haven't written fiction of any kind in years! - have one vague idea of one vague scene, but no real characters or plot. This could be... interesting!

I'm going to randomly generate a few sparse plot outlines tommorow morning, pick the one I like the best, have a little ponder about how I might go about writing it, then just go for it. Should be fun :D

I have an Epic Plot with, like, beginning middle end, conflicts, building intensity & everything. & now I'm just praying I actually get to write it, and don't end up scrapping it on day three to write about dystopian tunnel-dwellers. or something I dreamt whislt napping in maths lectures, like happened last year.

Wait... you guys have plans?

I got a poke from a friend, thought this looked like a fun challange and then signed up 4 hours before it started. I've already scrapped one idea after writing 500 words and I've made a second attempt already...

I'll see where it takes me, and if I reach 46997 words without and ending in site I'll tack on to be continued and call it a day month...

I signed up this morning with no idea for a story in mind... And about a week of time where I won't be able to write...

I have setting, characters, and isolated scenes in my head. Unfortunately I don't actually have a plot to chain all these things up together into anything coherent. I'm kind of hoping it'll just show up sometime soon, but I may start to bribe my muse with tunnock's teacakes and caffienated drinks if it doesn't cooperate soon >:-I

I started off with a vague notion of a character and a location for the first lot of action - the whole lot would fit on the back of a matchbook! So yes, totally making it up as I go along but hoping that come the end of the first week, the characters should be making it up for me which will be easier.

I was a bit late to come up with a plot, so was winging it on day one. I set about writing a plan last night and now I have a whole epic arc and a motley collection of virtually transparent characters to kill off over the next four weeks. Hooray!
